Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka is a native of Minsk which is the capital city of Belarus. Sergey (d.2019) was an in ice hockey. Aryna Sabalenka was born on 5 May 1998, in Minsk Belarus. Aryna Sabalenka has 12 WTA Singles titles. One of which was named Grand Slam in the Australian Open 2023. When it comes to doubles, she's an excellent player. She has won two majors along with Elise Mertens. They won her US Open in 2019 and the Australian Open in 2021. Alongside the Belgian tennis player, she also took home her the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells and Miami in 2019 thus making an appearance in the Sunshine Double. Women's doubles only had four couples achieve this feat. In January of 2023 she reached her highest ranking in singles. On 23rd August, 2021 she was promoted to the second spot in the World rankings. Following her victory at the Melbourne doubles tournament in February of 2021, she was able to move up the rankings to be the number one player on the list of that particular specialty. Dmitry Tursunov was her coach from 2018, until her season came to an end in 2019, and also for a short time at the start of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann was the coach for her from August to September of 2020. Her training has been provided by her fellow nationman Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020. Her idols are Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.
